Groundsman For Tree Care Company

Location: Southbury, CT
Salary: $14 - $17 per hour based on experience

Experienced Groundsman: Skills include but not limited to,

Chipping limbs and branches in the tree removal and/or pruning process, keeping the work area clear of debris.

Be a reliable member of the team responsive to audio/visual cues form the Climber and acting promptly with ground support.

Be able to foresee needed or requested tools and get them quickly to the climber. Understand and practice good safety procedures for types of equipment used.

Assist with proper pruning of shrubs and ornamental trees. Correctly fuel equipment.

Should have knowledge of:

Chain saw sharpening & maintenance.

Safe Chipper operation & maintenance.
