Experienced Tree Cutter / Tree Climber

Location: Ridgeland, MS
Salary: $20-$24/hour based on experience

Magnolia State Arborists is seeking an Experienced Tree Cutter/Climber to join our crew. The ideal candidate has experience safely removing and trimming trees, understands proper rigging techniques, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and remove trees using chainsaws and professional equipment
• Perform tree removals using proper rigging and sectioning techniques
• Climb trees or operate bucket trucks to access work areas
• Safely lower limbs and sections in confined or hazardous locations
• Inspect and maintain equipment
• Work efficiently with crew members to complete jobs safely

Required Qualifications

• Previous professional tree cutting and/or tree climbing experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong work ethic & a positive attitude
• Reliable, punctual & physically able to perform strenuous outdoor work
• Must prioritize safety and efficiency
