Job Summary: 

To promote maximum service to the members by:

• Proactively directing the operations of the vegetation management program for area(s) assigned and coordinating the work of multiple vegetation management contractors.
• Performing all member service functions to assure prompt, courteous and efficient handling of requests, resulting in quality service for members and contractors on vegetation management issues.

Job Requirements: 

• Encompass the three virtues of the Ideal Team Player (Humble, Hungry & People Smart).
• Four-year degree from an accredited college.
• Three (3) years related experience in GIS, vegetation, or forestry preferred.
• Must become state certified in herbicide application and become an ISA certified arborist within two (2) years of assuming responsibilities.
• Must become an ISA certified utility arborist within three (3) years of assuming responsibilities.
• Proficiency using GIS and Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in department functions, including interactions with outside vendors and contractors.
• Ability to deal with angry or frustrated members.
