Arborist/Tree Care Manager
Location: Fremont, CA
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000
Join a growing landscape and tree care company serving commercial, municipal, HOA, educational, and private clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
We are seeking an experienced ISA Certified Arborist to help lead and grow our tree care division. This role combines arboricultural expertise, client consulting, project management, estimating, crew support, and business development.
The ideal candidate is passionate about tree preservation, risk assessment, proper pruning practices, and delivering exceptional service to clients. This position provides an exciting opportunity to help shape and expand a growing tree care operation while working alongside a highly respected landscape maintenance and construction team.

Responsibilities
- Perform tree inspections and evaluations
- Conduct tree risk assessments
- Develop pruning and tree care recommendations
- Prepare arborist reports and client proposals
- Assist with permit applications and municipal compliance
- Meet with HOA, commercial, educational, and municipal clients
- Support estimating and bidding efforts
- Supervise or coordinate tree care crews
- Ensure compliance with ANSI A300 and Z133 standards
- Identify pests, diseases, structural defects, and declining tree health
- Participate in business development and client relationship management
- Assist in growing company tree care operations
Minimum Qualifications
- Current ISA Certified Arborist credential
- 3+ years arboriculture experience
- Strong knowledge of tree biology and tree care practices
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to communicate with clients professionally
- Experience preparing recommendations and reports
- Familiarity with Bay Area tree ordinances
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
- TRAQ Certification
- ISA Municipal Specialist
- BCMA Certification
- California Qualified Applicator License (QAL/QAC)
- Experience with HOA and municipal contracts
