Zoning/Landscape Field Representative II
Location: West Palm Beach, Florida

Location: 2300 N. Jog Road, WPB
Hours: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday – Friday
Other: Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Valid Florida Driver's License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval prior to appointment.
Performs specialized technical work reviewing various types of development plans and permit applications to ensure compliance with the Unified Land Development Code (ULDC) and the Zoning Technical Manual related to the construction review of multi-family and commercial building projects. Independently reviews zoning applications for compliance with landscape regulations; reviews building permit applications for compliance with ULDC; coordinates effectively with applicants, contractors, landscape architects and other government agencies; performs complex landscape field inspections and records results using appropriate forms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of six (6) years of experience as a Landscape Contractor, Nursery Manager, Forester or Arborist. Equivalencies: Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban/Regional Planning, Urban Design, Geography or closely related field and two (2) years of related experience; unrelated Bachelor’s Degree/related Associate’s Degree and four (4) years of related experience.
PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE WITH: Also desirable: International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Arborist Certification (copy of certification must be uploaded to online application by 5:00 P.M. on the closing date).
