Harrison McPhee Inc. seeks a highly qualified, good-vibe production tree preservation arborist to join our team. Lots of perks and great bennies, but the highlight will be the people you work with and the arboriculture you get to do.

Our Arborists have experience, interest, and ability in the following areas

Advanced climbing and rigging techniques
-
Advanced pruning techniques
-
Cable, bracing, and through-rod installation
-
Fine hand pruning
-
Ornamental tree artistry
-
Soil science
-
Compost tea brewing
-
Soil remediation
-
Disease and Insect diagnosis and treatment protocols
-
Advanced IPM techniques and applications
-
Heavy equipment operation including mini-skids steers, tracked lift, bucket truck, mini-excavators, air spade, chippers, Plant Health Care systems etc.

Installation of specimen trees and shrubs
-
Able to lift 50 lbs, work outside in all weather conditions, have a valid driver's license, work in a drug-free workplace
Qualifications
-
Industry experience 5 plus years
-
A college degree in a related field including biology, arboriculture, urban forestry, environmental studies, or related equivalent professional development and experience.

Industry qualifications or the desire to earn them including
-
Massachusetts Certified Arborist (MCA)
-
International Certified Arborist (ISA)
-
Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP)
-
Massachusetts Certified Landscape Professional (MCLP)
-
Commercial Driver License (CDL class B)
-
Massachusetts Hoisting License 1C 2A
-
Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator license
-
Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ)
