Professional Climbing Arborist

Location: Denver, CO
Salary: $30- $35+/hr. (TBD)

If you are committed to excellent customer service, providing high quality arboriculture work, working safely with a team, constantly seeking knowledge/education, and an avid outdoor enthusiast, we want you.

Fir Sure Arbor Pro LLC. has a 4 day work week (Tuesday-Friday) and an average of ~6-8 hrs/work day (~30hrs/week). We want you to have 3 day weekends so that you can work to live and not live to work. The proper amount of recuperation and relaxation is important and imperative so that you feel refreshed and excellent at the start of every work week.

MUST HAVE 2+ YEARS CLIMBING EXPERIENCE

• *Experience utilizing rope and saddle when pruning, knowledge of knots, chainsaw operation and chipper operation.
• *General knowledge of maintenance of gear and equipment
• *Skilled Colorado tree and shrub identification
• *Familiarity with ANSI standards
• *ISA Certification a plus (not required)

In addition, here's what we are looking for...

• *Perform a variety of tasks including groundwork, pruning, removals, training and driving/dumping company vehicles.
• * Promote and encourage safety culture to help protect themselves, the team and the public from harm.
• *Assist with the implementation of work zone safety procedures.
• *Assist all team members working on the ground and aloft.
• *Operate and maintain chippers, chainsaws, and all other equipment safely.
• *Assist with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties.
• *Driver’s license required ability to be insured on company policy, CDL a plus (not required)
• *Learn and demonstrate high safety standards, sound tree risk assessment skills, equipment inspection skills, proper pruning and rigging skills, and implementation of tree felling procedures.
• *Responsible for carrying out other duties as assigned by the crew leader or designated supervisor.
