POSITION SUMMARY:

At Great Scott Tree Service, we have over 40 of excellent years serving Orange County and adjacent areas.  On top of that, we have been providing the most accurate, detail-oriented Tree Inventories for our Clients, from bulk, serialized inventory to GPS form.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• 3 Years’ Experience in tree related industry/ or a Bachelor in Botany, Horticulture or Agriculture
• Effective oral and written communication via telephone, text & email in English
• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
• Ability to work accurately, and independently in a fast paced environment

  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to ID tree species onsite and report the following: Species, Size, Condition, Location.
• Ability to recognize diseases, Trim requirements, and determine watering schedule
• Ability to use GPS inventory on IPad Field App; Tech savvy is a plus
• Communicate with Area Supervisors, crew leaders, office staffs and City Officials

   

   

  REQUIREMENTS

• Clean driving record and Valid California Driver License
• Arborist Certificate (Optional)
• Speak English
• Clean Safety Record                                                       
• Ability to walk for an extended amount of time up to 8 hours; ability to climb slopes; carry equipment to tag trees
