Arborist / Experienced Tree Climber

Location: Hillsboro, OR
Salary: Above market average / DOE

For The Love Of Trees is passionate about proper tree care. We specialize in tree preservation and the long-term view of trees and their surroundings. We are also well versed in technical tree removals and regularly complete tree removals of all sizes.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of professional climbing and rigging experience; possess the skills and knowledge required for large removals, thinning and fine pruning; and have reliable transportation, good communication skills, and a willingness to work hard. Ideal candidates will be Certified Arborists with experience in the Pacific Northwest and will be well versed in DdRT and SRT climbing methods.  Responsibilities include climbing and ground duties and clear communication with our clients.

Pay is above market average and depends on experience and certifications.

We offer training, health insurance benefits, paid vacation, and paid holidays, and we provide most climbing gear (harness, ropes, ascenders, etc.) based on the business need and the climber's skill level.
