Plant Health Care Technician

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Salary: 45-70K

OBJECTIVE: We are looking for a Plant Health Care Technician who understands the importance of a holistic approach to plant health care from the roots to the crown. This opportunity is geared towards individuals who are driven and intelligent, and whom also put value in providing customers with a wow experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Able to consistently perform all assigned work safely & effectively according to company policy
• Able to consistently and effectively perform Fertilization and Pesticide Applications, Certified Applicator License highly preferred (Training and Applicator License will be provided if necessary)
• Able to consistently and effectively perform irrigation diagnostics and repairs
• Able to perform softscape landscape and enhancement work
• Able to perform recurring landscape maintenance work
• Able to consistently and effectively perform Tree Care duties and responsibilities (Training will be provided if necessary)

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Certified Applicator License Mandatory or 2 years work experience in the tree industry
• Driver’s License Mandatory, medical card required (DTM can assist with medical card)
• Must speak Excellent English
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to use Mathematic skills and understand numbers
• Must be able to adapt to new processes quickly
• Must be a problem solver, to the root cause
• Must have a team lead/ ownership mentality
• Quality driven and pays attention to detail
• Ability to work with team members and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of verbal and written instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard SOPs
• CPR/1stAid certification mandatory (DTM can assist)
• Forklift/ Bobcat Certification required (DTM can assist)
• High School Diploma or GED recommended

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for extended periods of time
• Must be able to withstand working in intense weather conditions
• Must be able (if required) to be on your feet 10 plus hours a day
• Must be able to drive for extended periods of time
• It is Mandatory to be able to talk, listen and communicate clearly

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year D.O.E.
