Tree Care Groundsperson
Location: Mechanicsville, VA
Salary:
- Set up, clean up and take good care of our trucks and equipment
- Work as part of a team
- Setting up safety items including positioning cones, signs and roping and taping off work areas
- Assisting climbers with tools to provide tree care services
- Gathering branches and debris and feeding them into a chipper and unloading trees and chips at the appropriate facilities
- Ensuring all operations, job sites, employees and the general public that may come into contact with the work area are safe
- Communicating effectively with other team members and the general public
- Must be at least 18 years old, enthusiastic, dependable and able to work safely with equipment like chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders and loaders
- Must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing physical work and able to lift / carry 35-80 pounds frequently
- Previous experience is helpful, but you must have an understanding of tree care basics
