Climber / Foreman
Location: Lakewood, Colorado
Salary: $80,000 / yr
Tree people wanted. Climbers, foreman, groundmen.
Small, family run business with a steady client base looking for reliable, hard working individuals. North Lakewood/ Golden / Arvada / Wheat Ridge, CO area. All positions must have reliable transportation. Full time W2 employee positions. All positions have room to grow and continuing education is provided. Start a career!
Foreman:
Must have 2+ years experience in the tree industry. Experienced in climbing and can prove technical ability with removals and detailed trims.
Have management skills and can run a crew of 3-6 people.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record. Is comfortable driving manual and towing large equipment. Knowledge and experience operating a bucket truck.
Professionalism with the crew and clients.
Safety minded.
An interest in arboriculture.
ISA certified arborist a plus.
CDL required.
Responsibilities include driving equipment to and from jobs. Managing and delegating to the crew. Quality checks on the work performed by climbers. Climbing for trims and removals. Clean up and chipping. Maintain equipment.
$50,000-$80,000/year depending on experience.
Tree Climber:
2+ years climbing experience. Looking for experienced climbers for trim and removal jobs. Must have experience in safety protocols, proper ISA standard pruning techniques and removal protocols.
ISA certified arborists will be considered first.
$22-$32/hr depending on experience and 30 day probationary period.
Groundmen:
Must have a valid license and be a team player. Previous experience on a tree crew a plus, but not required. Interest in arboriculture/ tree climbing a plus. We will train.
Duties: Drive work vehicles. Effective communication with climbers. Assist with equipment refueling, maintenance, run ropes. Safely clean up debris in drop zone, operate the chipper and thorough clean up with rakes and blowers.
$20-$25/ hr depending on experience. Subcontractors welcome.
