Tree Climber/Bucket Operator

Birchcrest Tree and Landscape, Inc. is looking for a year-round Tree Climber/Bucket Operator with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the tree care industry.

Duties may include:

• Duties include trimming and removing trees for our customers. Tree climbing, chipper, log loader operation, and ground cleanup.

Requirements include:

• Prior experience climbing for a tree-care company
• Must be able to prune and remove trees in a safe manner while utilizing machinery
• Self-motivated individual able to work well with a team of co-workers
• Experience with safe operation of chainsaws and other pruning equipment
• Excellent work habits and organizational skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• ISA Certified Arborist status, and/or CDL highly desirable but not required

Minimum Requirements

• Must be able to wear necessary PPE
• Must be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments
• Must be able to operate and service all required tools and equipment
• Clean driver's license
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test
• Must be able to pass criminal background check
• **Given the dangerous nature of the work required, employees must be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time**

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, move and maneuver heavy weights of 10 pounds frequently, and weights of up to 50 pounds
• Gripping
• Climbing
• Climbing on and off truck
• Balancing
• Pulling and pushing
