Equipment Operator 2 (Tree Dept.)

Salary: 36,570

Position: City of New Orleans’ Equipment Operator 2 (Tree Department) – This work involves responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of moderately heavy equipment.  Must be able to operate at least 2 of the following machines - Forestry Aerial Bucket Truck, Forestry Truck Hooded w/ Chipper In-Tow, Forestry Truck (open Bed, Dump).  Experience in tree maintenance and surgery favorable but not required. Training provided.  May be required to work tree emergencies after hrs. or weekends. Salary: Full-time $36,570k + benefits and 2 ½ % salary increase after the first year of service  Requirements: A current Louisiana Commercial Driver's License:  Class A, B, or C.  Applicants must have a good driving record.  Contact Dept. of Parks and Parkways HR dept.
