(Arborist) Parkways Maintenance Section Manager

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Salary: 60,859

Position: City of New Orleans’ Parkways Maintenance Section Manager – Highly responsible technical, administrative and supervisory work as the operations manager for the Dept. of Parks and Parkways’ Tree Department. Salary: Full-time 40 hrs/wk $60,859 + benefits and 2.5% salary increase after the first year of service. Requirements: 8 yrs. of full-time supervisory experience in tree, turf maintenance of horticulture and must also possess a current LA Arborist License. A BA degree in Forestry Park Mgt., Agronomy, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Botany, Plant Science or closely related field may be substituted for (5) years of the required experience.
