Tree Climber / Foreman

Location: Rochester, NY
Salary: $25-$35 / hour

Birchcrest Tree and Landscape, Inc. is looking for a Tree Climber / Foreman with a minimum of 1-2 years experience in the tree care industry. Requirements include:

• Must be able to identify common landscape trees
• Self-motivated individual able to work with seasonal pressure
• Clean driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs. necessary
• Experience with safe operation of chainsaws and other pruning equipment
• Excellent work habits and organizational skills
• Good communication and customer service skills

Associates Degree or horticulture program certificate, ISA Certified Arborist status, and/or CDL highly desirable.

 

Tree duties for Climber / Foreman position may include:

• Tree Climbing
• Bucket Truck, Chipper, and/or Stump Grinder operation
• Cleanup operations/ground crew
