Experienced climbing arborist

Location: North Bend, WA
Salary: $25-$40/hour based on experience; $500 signing bonus after one year

Experienced climbing arborist (at least 3 years) who is comfortable running a crew and interacting with clients. Tree work will be the primary focus of the work day but some ground work will be required, as well as maintenance and upkeep work on equipment.  

Our Business:  Our business is located in North Bend, WA and we offer a mix of tree work and landscaping service. This keeps each day engaging with a mix of pruning small and large trees, orchard management, tree removal, stump removal, tree preservation (i.e. - on construction sites), landscape design and install. No hardscapes, fountains or turf management.  Our work week is a 4-day work week. Each day starts at 7am and is an 8-10 hour day, depending upon the season. Frequent opportunity for overtime, if desired.

Rope access is used to climb and prune trees without damaging them. Climbing spurs are used only when removing a tree. The landscaping side of our business is based on low maintenance, ecologically driven design principles. Please visit thomasjtreecare.com for additional information.

Requirements:

Must be dependable, punctual, and drug-free

Safe work habits

Must be organized and detail oriented

Must have good communication skills

Must be able to present and conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times

Have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and a reliable mode of transportation. 

ISA Certified Arborist preferred, or interest in obtaining.
