Crew leader / Arborist climber

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

It is time for Good Earth Tree Care to grow. We seek to preserve and beautify the urban canopy by offering the highest quality tree care services backed by experience and a high standard for safety. We are looking for an experienced arborist to join our team!

Crew Leader Duties:

• Supervises tree crew while performing residential and commercial tree pruning and removals in accordance with ANSI and company standards.
• Be able to operate a bucket truck when necessary. 
• Rigging and lowering skills to perform tree pruning and removals safely. 
• Perform supplemental support (cabling and bracing) techniques and methods in accordance to ANSI Standards.
• Must be familiar with ANSI standards and procedures and is willing to enforce these standards as well as company safety policies
• Must be willing to accept and be responsible for daily production goals and safety procedures of the crew.

​Qualifications:

• Full-time availability 
• Excellent communication skills
• ISA Certification or CTSP is a plus 
• Possess leadership skills that motivate safety and productivity. 
• A clean/valid Chauffer's License, CDL is a plus
• Presents a professional appearance and attitude.
• Be able to identify Michigan trees
