Location: Wyoming, ON

Wyoming Tree Service is a growing, professional tree care company in Southwestern Ontario. We are looking for someone to join our hard-working, life-loving, community-minded team. The arborist is part of a 2-3 person crew. Positions available include crew leader, climber, student, and groundsperson.

Responsibilities include: tree planting and fertilizing, tree and stump removal, safe work practices, communication, and documentation, rigging and climbing, residential, municipal, and commercial tree care, public tree care education and community involvement, property maintenance, promotion of best practices in tree care, professional pruning, operation of bucket truck, chainsaw, brush chipper and stump grinder, line clearing and utility work, emergency calls and storm clean-up work, agricultural wood clearing, basic maintenance of arboricultural equipment, assessments and consultations, crew leaders only: job planning and crew management and supervision

Qualifications and skills required:

-DZ license, preferred
-post-secondary education in arboriculture, or related field, preferred
-International Society of Arboriculture or trade arborist certification, preferred
-relevant training and safety certification
-experience in a related field
-physically fit and able to handle demanding work
-professionalism in language and appearance
-flexibility, adaptability to variety of tasks
-positive attitude in promoting company and encouraging co-workers
-productive performance on a timeline
-friendly and polite customer service
-resourcefulness, ability to make decisions and solve problems
