Z133-2026 Coming Soon
ISA is pleased to share that the Z133-2026 has been approved by ANSI for publication. The publication date is set for 27 May 2026.
The American National Standard: Safety and Health Requirements for Arboricultural Operations (commonly referred to as the Z133 standard) is a United States safety standard for use across the arboriculture industry. The previous edition of the Z133, effective until 27 May 2026, was published in 2017. Since that year, the Z133 Committee has drafted revisions to refine the standard, ensure better safety outcomes, and keep pace with developments in the industry.
Once published on 27 May 2026, the Z133 standard will be available through the ISA web store in English and Spanish with digital and print options.
The digital options in both English and Spanish will be provided in downloadable PDF format for individual use, available through the ISA web store at no cost. This involves adding the free product to your webcart, checking out, and then accessing it as a digital product through your MyISA account dashboard. If you do not already have a MyISA account, you will be prompted to create one on checkout. There is no charge for the digital standard or for creating a MyISA account.
The digital version of the standard is for individual use only—not for sharing or distribution—but you are welcome to download it and keep it on any of your devices for easy access. The print options in English and Spanish will be available for purchase at the ISA retail ($29.95) or member ($24.95) price, providing you with a high-quality print version of the standard with a spiral binding. ISA also offers a licensing option for companies that wish to print or distribute their own copies internally.
