Tree Trimmer

Location: Temple City, CA
Salary:

Temple City is recruiting for two Tree Trimmer vacancies in the Parks and Recreation Department. Under direct supervision, these individuals will utilize standard tree maintenance equipment and methodology, climb, trim, plant, and remove City trees, ensuring adherence to safe work procedures and practices.

Vacancies will be filled at the level of Full-Time Tree Trimmer and Part-Time Tree Trimmer depending upon the qualifications and availability of the candidates selected.

Full-Time Tree Trimmer ($3,788 - $4,792 monthly)

Part-Time Tree Trimmer ($21.85 - $27.65 per hour) This position will be limited to 29 hours per week.

Education and Experience:

A combination of training and experience equivalent to completion of high school and two year's recent experience in the climbing and trimming of trees.

Other Qualifications: Possession of a valid Class C motor vehicle operator's license from the State of California.
