Climbing Arborist / Arborist Trainee

Location: Nixa, MO
Salary: 17/hr

Cherokee Tree Care is now hiring - Climbing Arborist or Arborist trainee.
(This is a career in Arboriculture not a job at a tree service)

Job requirements:
Daily climbing and customer interaction, SRT climbing is required. You will be part of a 3 person or 4 person climbing team. All team members climb and are arborist or arborist trainees. (All Climb and all clean up- no career ground workers here). We follow ANSI safety and pruning standards. (CTSP is a plus).
We will give you the training you need to become an ISA Certified Arborist. We will pay for your training and the test.
We’re an open book company that places an emphasis on why first and then how.

This is the hardest job you have ever worked. You must love hard work, have lots of initiative and be able to maintain a good attitude day to day. Every day will be a new challenge.

Starting pay- no experience
$17 per hour plus overtime.
40-45 hour workweek
6 paid holidays and 2 weeks paid vacation.
Cherokee pays for 50% of Medical, Dental, Vision. 100% of Short Term and Long Term Disability and Life Insurance
