Consulting Arborist for Private Firm

Location: Atlanta, GA
Salary: $18-$30/hr

We are searching for Consulting Arborist to join our vibrant team. This is NOT a sales or production position but rather it would be the consulting arm of the company that will assist both sales and plant health care departments with consulting services, e.g. visual inspections, risk assessments, prescriptions, inventories, tree removal permit assessments, etc. Candidate must have excellent references, a great personality, and a strong work ethic. Company vehicle, phone, laptop, etc. We set you up for success! Position is hourly with an expectation of 40-50 hours per week. Please note we are practicing preventative measures at this time. More about the job:

· Must have current ISA Certification

· Minimum 3 years of industry experience

· Ability to explain services to customers not familiar with the tree industry

· Experience with plant health care services and knowledge of municipal tree ordinances is valuable

· Perform consultations for residential and commercial clients, e.g. Due Diligence periods, Tree Removal Permit requests, Tree Protection Plans, and General Tree and Shrub Assessments that do not include proposing work

· Perform TRAQ tree risk assessments, inventories, appraisals

· Prepare Plant Health Care Prescriptions for Construction projects

· Assist Arborist staff with plant health care renewals and annual inspections

· Assist with sales on an as-needed basis

· Assist plant health care department with plant health care services or specialty projects

· Assist tree care crews with tree planting and specialty pruning projects
