Operations Manager

Location: Evergreen, Colorado
Salary: $65k - $80k per year DOE

LAM Tree Service Inc. in Evergreen, Colorado is looking to hire an Operations Manager who is capable of leading and managing others as well as maintaining inventory, delegating equipment repairs and vendor relations.

• A class “A” commercial driver’s license (CDL) or the ability to obtain within 30 days is required.
• Knowledge of industry standard practices and safety standards are required.
• Knowledge of safe operation of industry specific equipment: chippers, chainsaws, stump grinder, aerial lift, spraying systems, etc. is required.
• Knowledge of industry standards regarding modern climbing and rigging tools/techniques.
• I.S.A. certifications; BCMA, Certified Arborist, TRAQ, Certified tree worker are a plus and may be a future requirement.
• T.C.I.A.’s Certified Treecare Safety Professional certification is a plus and will be a future requirement.
• Colorado Dept. of Agriculture licenses: Q.S. or C.O. are a plus and will be a future requirement.
• Pay is dependent on experience and certifications all will need to be verified with a past employer, trade organization, training company or combination.
• Average pay is $65,000 to $80,000 per year + benefits. This is a year round, full time position.

The ideal candidate would have at least 7 years green industry experience, understand the challenges related to managing people, their differences and the ability and willingness to learn and adapt to present and future situations. This individual will oversee our management team, crews, equipment and facilities. They will be responsible for the production and profitability of daily operations. They will be working directly with the business owner and management team to assure daily production is moving at a consistently safe and efficient manner. Their opinion and foresight pertaining to customer needs, equipment purchases, employee review and retention will be highly valued.
