General Manager Tree Division

Key Responsibilities - General Manager, Tree Division: ● Schedule and manage various tree crews ● Act as liaison and expert with tree crew leaders, clients and maintenance supervisors. ● Quote new work (note that many smaller jobs may be bid by others in the company with your input) ● Create multi-year tree pruning programs ● Manage and oversee GIS (Geographic Information System) database ● Present quotes and programs to existing and potential customers ● Manage and oversee the safety program and ensure compliance requirements ● Assist with sales and marketing program ● Report production and profitability status within the tree division ● Identify, hire and train new workers ● Perform disciplinary actions as needed for workers (in conjunction with Human Resources Department) ● Approve / disapprove tree services pricing submitted to you by others throughout the Company. ● Write and create arborist reports when needed ● Developing and implementing tree health care plans Qualifications: ● ISA Certification ● TRAQ Certified preferred ● Knowledge of tree species, pests and related diseases and solutions ● Leadership skills ● Technical computer skills as they relate to MS Office/Google suite and tree mapping programs ● Effective oral and written communication skills ● Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment ● Customer service experience ● Bilingual (Spanish) a plus ● 3+ years of management experience in the arborcare field (preferred)

Continuing education costs Commissionable Work ● New Landscape Maintenance Contract(s) - For any new maintenance contract leads that you deliver, that result in new work for the company, there is a commission that equals 10% of the first months contract base fee.
