Upcoming Women in Arboriculture Session in NZ

During the 2025 Annual International Conference, ISA is hosting a special breakfast session starting at 7:30 am on 21 October to celebrate women leaders in arboriculture.  The panel will have ISA CEO and Executive Director Caitlyn Pollihan as the moderator, as well as: 

  • 2024 International Tree Climbing Champion: Stephanie Dryfhout 
  • Davey Tree’s Project Manager of Health & Safety and ISA Board Certified Master Arborist: Alex Julius 
  • ISA Board Member and Climber Arborist: Boel Hammarstrand 

This session is a chance to inspire, connect and celebrate women who are shaping the future of arboriculture. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear their experiences and insights into advancing into leadership roles, both in the canopy and on the ground.  

This year’s Annual International Conference is taking place in Christchurch, New Zealand, from 19-22 October at the Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre.

ISA has a vast inventory of arboriculture- and urban forestry-related images that were compiled with the help of our members and volunteers.

Through a partnership with Forestry Images, ISA has thousands of photos and graphics available for use. ISA either owns the photos or has permission to permit their use.
