Submit Your Articles to Arborist News

ISA’s flagship publication is seeking submissions of all article types for consideration in future issues. Content published in Arborist News addresses the needs of practicing arborists, experienced researchers, and green-industry professionals around the globe, providing ISA’s diverse membership with the latest in arboricultural news and education.

  • Feature Articles: Feature articles make up the main contents of the newsletter and can cover any topic relevant to arboriculture.
  • Continuing Education: The Continuing Education section provides an article related to one of the areas of knowledge of the ISA Certified Arborist® credential and is accompanied by a 20-question quiz.
  • Climbers’ Corner: These short articles discuss topics specifically relevant to climbing arborists, from issues related to production arboriculture to recaps of climbing competitions.
  • Simply Safe: This section of the newsletter focuses on timely, applicable information regarding safety for climbing arborists, ground crews, and other arboriculture professionals working in or around trees. Simply Safe articles are designed to be shareable, such as at a crew safety briefing, and should promote a culture of safety in the industry.

Additional information can be found in the Arborist News Author Guidelines. Submit all articles for consideration via email to [email protected]
