New Initiative Coming to Trees Are Good

The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) is excited to announce a new initiative coming to Trees Are Good’s Facebook page. To better engage with the public, Trees Are Good is introducing a series called “Through the Trees.”

“Through the Trees” explores how trees play an important role in the arts, culture, history and everyday life. This series is designed to show the public the important role trees play beyond environmental and economic factors by emphasizing their cultural and social value as well. The goal of this initiative is to remind the public of the value of trees so that, in turn, they will also value the care of trees.

“Through the Trees” kicked off earlier this month, but we would like to invite you to submit some trees you would like to see featured—whether it’s a tree from a work of art, a time in history or one that holds cultural significance.
