From November 25th to 29th, 2024, the vibrant city of São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil, will host the much-anticipated 4th Latin American and Caribbean Forum on Urban Forests. This prestigious event, orchestrated by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO-UN) in collaboration with respected Brazilian institutions such as USP, UFSCar, SBAU, the Municipality of São José dos Campos, is a must-attend for professionals dedicated to urban forestry and green space management.
The Forum will feature a rich tapestry of lectures, presentations, and group discussions, offering a platform for national and local government representatives, researchers, NGO members, urban planners, arborists, landscapers, and young innovators to converge and share insights. This year’s focus will be on social and technological innovations in urban forest management, aiming to build on the successes of previous forums and the pivotal Guadalajara Action Plan.
