As the end of 2025 approaches, it’s a good opportunity to consider aspirations for next year. ISA Certified Arborists® who have held the credential for multiple years and hold other industry credentials should consider earning the highest level of international credential in the field! The written exam is divided into 17 knowledge areas; interested ISA credential holders should review both the Program Guide and Examination Outline to learn more.
The BCMA Guide for Exam Preparation helps prepare arborists for the ISA BCMA exam by offering tools for additional resources and a framework for creating a personalized study plan rather than serving as a traditional textbook.
The guide includes sample exam questions to familiarize arborists with the exam format, as well as a 50-question preliminary assessment to evaluate their knowledge base and guide them on areas that may need improvement.
Each chapter includes learning objectives, key terms and definitions, topic-specific self-assessment, recommended resources for further study, and practice questions with detailed answer explanations.
