This year's Conference features an exciting lineup of dynamic speakers, including Mark Johnston, PhD, independent scholar of arboriculture, landscape, and urban forestry, as the keynote speaker. Johnston's presentation, "Planting Ideas in the Urban Forest," outlines the international urban forestry movement from the 1970s, highlighting some of the key developments and individuals that have shaped the movement and discussing the many exciting initiatives that have pioneered new ideas and approaches in urban forestry and urban greening.

In addition to the keynote, the 2025 Annual International Conference features other notable speakers who will address key industry topics. For instance, 2023 North American Tree Climbing Champion Jeff Inman will discuss safety and effective communication on the job site, and 2012 President's Award winner Nelda Matheny will share insights on utilizing recycled water for tree and landscape irrigation.
