Salary: Salary range: $76,093.00 - $122,510.00 Annually

Town Arborist (Full-Time) - Town of Vienna, VA:  Join our team!  Vienna is in Fairfax County, about 15 miles west of Washington, DC.  Tree City USA recognized for over 22 years, Vienna is a vibrant community of over 16,000 population.  Our Urban Forestry, Parks & Horticulture teams work hard to enhance the environment through maintenance and preservation of trees in parks, forested land and along strees. 

The Town of Vienna seeks a dynamic individual to manage the Town’s trees and landscapes in parks, green spaces, public facilities and Town rights-of-way. The Town Arborist provides technical guidance and expertise for Town projects, commercial development and manages Town staff and contractors performing maintenance. 

You must have a Bachelor’s in Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Forestry or closely related field with a minimum of five (5) years of field experience. Field experience in lieu of post-secondary education will be strongly considered; at least 3 years supervisory experience; an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Arborist Certification and valid driver’s license in good standing.
