Tree care company Green Heritage Tree Services Ltd was founded in 2009. Serving the entire Halifax area, including Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville, Fall River and surrounding areas.

Job description- Skills Needed:

We are looking for a tree climber and/or Arborist to join our team. Must have several years experience doing tree climbing and being a strong leader to a ground team.

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, is adaptable and takes direction well.

A positive, professional attitude when on job sites and interacting with customers is a must.

Experience with chainsaws and strong knowledge of their maintenance.

Proficient with knots for climbing/ rigging.

Experience with tree pruning and tree removals in a safe and efficient manner.

Knowledge of tree/shrub identification.

 

Perform daily safety checks of equipment and assist with equipment maintenance.

Applicant will be responsible to help with debris clean up (using our wood chipper).

Applicant will need to have their own vehicle to get to the company base (public transit is not an option).

Applicant will need to have a valid drivers license and be comfortable driving a truck pulling either a trailer or chipper.

Must be in good physical condition.

Willing to work outside in various weather conditions.

 

Start time- as soon as possible

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour- Wage will be dependent on experience.

Schedule:

8 hour shift- (pay is time and a half after 8 hours)
Day shift- Monday to Friday
