Urban Forestry Technician

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Salary: $30.57 Hourly

The city of Las Vegas invites applicants for Urban Forestry Technician. Under direction, this position ensures the proper care and maintenance of City-owned trees and median landscapes. Leads and oversees the work of tree maintenance staff and contractor efforts as they relate to all aspects of tree care and landscape maintenance; trains staff on proper tree and landscape maintenance practices, procedures and equipment operation; enforces best practices as they relate to tree preservation, tree protection, landscape maintenance and public safety.
