COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST II

Nashville Electric Service currently has a vacancy in the classification of Communications Specialist II.  Examples of the duties include serving as a spokesperson for the organization, creating and editing brochures and newsletters on NES programs and services, creating and delivering presentations on utility issues and initiatives, and responding to customer inquiries and requests.  Please see detailed requirements on the NESpower website. 

 

Position requires:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or public relations from an accredited institution is required.
• Two years of professional communications experience, which includes media reporting and/or responding to media requests is required.
• Must have a valid Class D driver’s license from state of residence in accordance with state law.
