Senior Utility Arborist

SENIOR UTILITY ARBORIST
Nashville Electric Service currently has a vacancy in the classification of Senior Utility Arborist. Examples of the duties include planning, coordinating and overseeing the vegetation management programs for the company.
Position requires:
- Bachelor’s degree in forestry, biology, natural resources, or agriculture from an accredited institution is required.
- Four years’ experience in, or working for, an electric utility inspecting power lines and evaluating vegetation sites, determining vegetations control methods, and auditing and monitoring work performed by contract vegetation crews is required.
- Must have a valid Class D driver’s license from state of residence in accordance with state law.
- Certified Arborist /Utility Specialist as defined by the International Society of Arboriculture is required.
