We are looking for a team player. Someone that works well with others. We are looking for someone that wants to grow and develop as a professional arborist. We want a crew member that will grow with our team. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and safety conscience.

Responsibilities:

• Tree identification Learn all of the tree species in South Texas in order to deliver the best results to our clients

• Chainsaw operation Be safe and proficient in all chainsaw techniques, operations and maintenance for maximum efficiency and to maintain our spotless safety record

• Chipper and stump grinder operation Be safe and proficient in all aspects of chipper and stump grinder operations and maintenance to maintain our spotless safety record

• Tree felling and removal Be safe and methodical in removing trees to ensure that all parties are protected and ensure the right trees are removed

• Proper pruning techniques Utilize the latest science to make the best cuts to ensure the health of the trees

• Rigging and climbing Use safe and efficient techniques to access trees and lower limbs out

• Aerial lift operation Safe operation of all types of lifts including, Spyder lifts, Boom, Bucket.

• Drive trucks and trailers. Maintain a safe accident free record driving various heavy trucks and trailers .

• Operate heavy equipment Safely operate skidsteers, forklifts, excavators, backhoes, grapples, etc to facilitate the easy removal of material from jobs

• Completing assigned tasks on time - Striving to complete assigned tasks on time in order to help maintain the day to day operations within your team

• Complete Daily work Utilize mobile and laptop platforms to pull tasks, directions, contact clients and team members, close jobs, schedule work and order supplies

• Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) - Always looking for small improvement opportunities that will make us better, faster, cheaper, more effective (example: automations, eliminate redundancies, improve methods)

Requirements:

Preferred

• CDL Driver optimal.

• ISA Arborist or Climber Certification a plus.

• Experience with Excel, Jobber, Single Ops, Salesforce

• Spanish

Required

• Driver License Required.

• Ability to use technology

Pay dependent on qualifications and experience. This is a full time, year round job with benefits.

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour

• Tree care: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• Spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Certified Arborist License (ISA) (Preferred)
