Salary: $30.76 - $33.14 Hourly

If so, Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is presently recruiting a skilled outdoor professional to serve as a Forest Maintenance Worker who can thrive in a dynamic work environment while maintaining and improving our stewardship of the natural resources that enhance our City, local community, and the region. City of Seattle's Municipal Watersheds, cover over 100,000 acres and are carefully managed to support and supply clean drinking water to the greater Seattle area. Forest Maintenance Workers are an integral part of Watershed Operations, an inclusive, adaptable team that is responsible for performing a variety of skills in forest road improvements and maintenance, reforestation, habitat restoration, fire prevention and the building and maintenance of the watershed infrastructure. Successful candidates will enjoy working with their hands and a variety of equipment in an outdoor setting in varied climate
