JOB DESCRIPTION

Sales Arborists will follow up on requests for services, generate sales opportunities, and meet sales goals while adhering to company policies and promoting positive professional customer interactions.  They need to have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter who is comfortable interacting with the public as well as our employees.

RESPONIBILITIES

*Adhere to a busy sales schedule provided by the office (10-15 estimates daily)

*Meet with existing and potential clients to determine necessary arboricultural recommendations

*Accurately estimate time and costs required to complete recommendations

*Type, print out and clearly present estimated job costs to onsite clients, over the phone and through email

*Regularly follow up with potential clients to makes sales

*Review jobs with foreman each morning to clearly communicate scope of work and client expectations

*Follow through with crew foreman and clients to ensure job satisfaction

*Work with management to resolve client complaints

*Attend industry and community events to promote the company

*Help with company marketing campaigns and social media events

*Set up personal sales goals with management

QUALIFICATIONS

*Knowledge and understanding of tree care industry practices

*Minimum of 1-2 years sales experience in the tree care industry

*Proven track record of achieving and maintaining sales goals

*ISA Certified Arborist or ability to obtain one within 12 months

*Degree in green industry field preferred but not mandatory

*Excellent professional communications skills both verbally and written

*Computer literate

*Valid driver license
