Managing Arborist

Location: Manassas, VA
Salary:

Family-owned, top-rated, tree care company in Northern Virginia seeks an individual interested in building a career in arboriculture. 

Responsibilities include working closely with owner to estimate jobs, plan, coordinate and maintain appropriate equipment and personnel resources.  Management arborist will lead a tree crew for a variety of tree care tasks in accordance with ANSI and company standards. 

Qualifications:

• Candidate must be trustworthy, hardworking, punctual, mechanically inclined, teachable and committed to consistent improvement.   
• Minimum 2 years of experience in general tree care operations: tree climbing for pruning and removal, rigging knowledge, equipment operation (chainsaw, stump grinder, Bobcat, and Manlift).
• Maintain ISA Arborist industry standards and technical knowledge.
• Possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
