(Tree Dept.) Sr. Parkways Maintenance Supervisor

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Salary: 40,391

Position: City of New Orleans’ Senior Parkways Maintenance Supervisor (Tree Department) – serve as assistant to Chief Urban Forester. Inspect requests from tree companies, construction projects, citizens and utility companies. Operate all tree equipment: buckets, chippers, etc. Oversee office and field personnel. May be required to work tree emergencies after hrs. or weekends. Salary: Full-time $40,391k + benefits and 2 ½ % salary increase after the first year of service  Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry or closely related field or Five (5) yrs of full-time supervisory experience in tree maintenance and surgery.
