Landscape Inspector and Plans Examiner

Salary: $58,955.53 – 89,612.14 Annually

The City of Hollywood is looking for a results driven professional with proven leadership and organizational skills and strong commitment to team environment dynamics. We are currently hiring for a Landscape Inspector and Plans Examiner in our Engineering, Transportation and Mobility Division.

Job Description

This is technical work in landscape inspection and plans review to ensure proper permitting and compliance. Work involves performing landscape inspections and plans review of residential and commercial properties and development projects to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications. Responsibilities also include enforcing ordinances, codes, and regulations related to landscaping, such as tree preservation, maintenance, removal and other related activities.  Assignments are received from a superior and may be accompanied by oral or written directions. Work is normally performed independently and requires technical knowledge, discretion and judgment.  Work is reviewed in progress or upon completion for accuracy and compliance with desired results.

Salary Range

$58,955.53 – 89,612.14 Annually

Full salary range listed above; however, the starting salary is negotiable dependent upon qualifications. The City of Hollywood also offers an attractive benefits package to include Medical, Dental and Visions Plans and Retirement Plan.
