Location: Spring City, PA
Salary:

Tree Service Foreman- Ground Crew Lead

Pay: $20-30 per hour based on experience and is negotiable

We are a small, family- owned and operated, full-service tree care company servicing Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware counties. We specialize in tree removal, tree pruning, stump grinding and tree and plant healthcare.

Qualifications:
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather and demonstrate a commitment for hard work and safety.
Valid CDL required or ability to obtain one within one year of hire
At least 3 years’ experience leading a tree service ground crew
Experience operating equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and grapple while adhering to ANSI and company safety standards. Experience with Aerial lifts preferred, but not required.
ISA Arborist Certification is preferred but not required.
Able to pass a drug screen and physical exam


Responsibilities
Lead by Example – You set the bar for the rest of the crew. Behave in a manner that is appropriate and acceptable.
Oversee and work with the crew to complete jobs safely and on schedule
Cooperate with and assist tree climbers from the ground.
Make proper cuts for structural pruning and tree removal by ANSI and company standards.
Identify needs of clients and offer solutions based on knowledge of tree care products and services.
Prepare, operate and maintain all tools and equipment.
Leave jobs looking clean and aesthetically pleasing
Identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and maintain a working knowledge of each species’ characteristics
