Safety Specialist - Training

Safety Specialist at Integrity Tree Services is an advanced career opportunity for Occupational Health & Safety professionals with measurable success in creating safety awareness and training programs for tree service companies. Our business consists of tree and shrub health care, trim and removal, and vegetation management for utility, land development, and residential customers. Our Safety Specialist will perform field safety observations as well asdevelop, implement, and maintain OHS programs and initiatives.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a safety role within tree care industry
• Experience identifying training needs, developing and then implementing training materials, programs, protocols.
• Advanced understanding of federal and state OSHA regulations and requirements.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

DESIRED TRAINING & CERTIFICATIONS:

• Awards or accolades for accomplishments in safety improvements.
• CSP or ASP certification
• OSHA Outreach Trainer
• CTSP Certification
• ISA Certified Arborist

TRAVEL: Frequent overnight travel should be expected in support of Indiana and Ohio; other states as needed.
