Plant Health Care Accounts Receivable Assistant

Salary: Based on Experience
The following is a list of primary duties which are considered to be essential functions of the PHC Accounts Receivable Assistant position. This is consistent with our need to be flexible and responsive to the needs of our clients. The employee who occupies this position is expected to assume any/all duties assigned by Kramer Tree Specialists, Inc. management.
Position Summary
The PHC Accounts Receivable Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Plant Health Care department as needed and as directed by the PHC Manager. This will be accomplished by the timely, accurate, and professional completion of all Plant Health Care accounting, clerical and client service functions assigned by the PHC Manager. The PHC Accounts Receivable Assistant is expected to always maintain a positive image and adhere to our core values and Performance Triangle, which involves the balance of safe, productive and quality work practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Timely completion of daily invoicing
Maintenance of accounts receivable for the PHC Department, attend monthly Accounts Receivable meeting
Enter information from the Applicator Daily Sheets and provide monthly report to the Administrative Department
Assisting with incoming phone calls from clients inquiring about PHC products and services
Assisting with yearly Plant Health Care renewal process
Handle client complaints professionally to promptly resolve any issues
Overseeing of the Monitoring program in conjunction of designated sales staff
Work closely with the PHC Manager filtering overflow incoming phone calls
Writing Spring and Fall newsletter articles
Provide support to all other Kramer Tree Specialist, Inc. departments as needed or directed by your supervisor
Ability to work within a team atmosphere and willingness to contribute as needed.
Plan weekly and daily activities in advance to ensure efficient time use and positive end results.
Establish and maintain a good working relationship with your manager, Office Manager, and any other management staff members with which you must interact.
Keep your immediate supervisor informed of progress and problems on the job.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to work within a diversified work environment remaining flexible to move from one task to the next with short notice.
Ability to effectively initiate, pursue and prioritize the completion of multiple tasks
Ability to service all levels within an organization, including both office and field employees, with a positive attitude as well as the ability to handle highly sensitive data in an appropriate manner
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift 20 pounds
