Sales Manager

Arborist Now currently has an opening available for a Sales Manager. This position services the Commercial and Municipal/Government Contract Division of Arborist Now. A successful Sales Manager is a proactive leader with a strong work ethic and is a self- starter who enjoys interacting with the public and our employees and building long-lasting relationships. This position reports directly to the Owner/Founder.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving the relationship development functions- Bay Area.
- Prospect profitable commercial tree and landscape opportunities.
- Main objective is to secure government/municipal contracts and large corporate contracts.
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clientele - prospective, new and existing.
- Produce professionally-written proposals and communications for clientele and produce internal reports from proposals.
- Review, understand and utilize plan specifications and contract documentation as needed.
- Maintain all leads, prospective clientele, and related information in CRM software.
- Prior experience with a record of success in a consultative sales environment.
- Prior green industry, tree/landscape sales management experience required.
- A passion for service excellence.
- Excellent sales and communication skills.
- Customer service follow-through.
- Good people skills; self-motivated; computer proficient and organized.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead, motivate and mentor division personnel, including addressing performance concerns and resolving conflict.
- Commitment to perform responsibilities with high professional and ethical standards.
- Superb professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be highly-motivated with excellent time management skills.
- Proficient with computer software including MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Ability to pass drug, DMV, and background screens.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record a must.
- Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) highly valuable.
