Crew Leader- General Tree Care

Location: Basking Ridge, NJ
Salary:

SavATree is seeking motivated Crew Leaders to join our rapidly growing company in our Basking Ridge, NJ branch!

Further develop your skills and expertise in the field with our advancement programs associated with pay wage increases. As part of our our highly skilled team of experts, you will the opportunity to oversee jobs and lead the general tree care crew on some of the most lucrative landscapes. 

Accountabilities:

• Work as a member of a general tree care crew providing high-quality tree care.
• Perform specialized pruning and removals, install cabling and bracing using knowledge of compartmentalization & other concepts related to tree wounding/pruning
• Safely operate equipment including chainsaws, chippers, hand-tools and/or bucket truck
• Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications:

• Must have experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals
• Able to identify native and introduced trees and shrubs species and have a working knowledge of each species' characteristics
• Valid Driver's license
• Experience in Bucket Truck Operation helpful
