About Tree Climbing Championships
Each year the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) holds the World Championships of tree climbing.
The International Tree Climbing Championship (ITCC) presented by Davey is held in conjunction with the annual conference of the ISA.
Professional tree climbing competitions are held around the world to showcase the highest level of professional
skills and safety, providing a competitive learning environment for those working in the industry. Competitive tree
climbing also introduces the public to the skills professional tree climbing arborists must use for safe, professional tree work.
Over 50 competitors who have won their regional competitions compete at the International Tree Climbing Championship.
