I've inquired with the ISA (headquarters and my local chapter), Arbormastor, and North American Training Solutions trying to find a source for Aerial Rescue Training. It is a prerequisite for taking the ISA Climber Specialist Certification exam. None have responded, and I've found no other resources. I just find it hard to believe I have not even received a response from any one of them. I'm located just North of Boston, MA. Does anyone know of a credible source located in my region? Thanks for the help.

Dear James,
Please check out TCIA (Tree Care Industry Association). http://www.tcia.org/training/AerialRescue.htm According to their website there are no upcoming workshops at this time.
Unfortunately Aerial rescue trainings are quite limited. I feel there is a significant need for this type of training in our industry.
Good luck. Be safe. Please contact me directly if you would like to discuss this more.
Cheers,
Bear

Try hooking up with a local volunteer fire dept. I know they put on high angle rescue classes.
