Annual Asplundh Golf Outing to Benefit the TREE Fund
TREE Fund Raise Your Hand for Research Auction
- Date: Monday, August 5
- Cost: $30 USD per person ($40 onsite)
- Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Where: Fairmont Royal York
Join us for an evening of elegance to include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a live auction. Also, be sure to take part in our silent auction which will be held at the TREE Fund booth from Sunday evening through early Tuesday afternoon.
Women in Arboriculture Breakfast

Every year, the Women in Arboriculture Breakfast brings speakers with diverse backgrounds to share their experiences in working with trees. UAA Luncheon

- Where: Metro Toronto Convention Centre - South Building
Meet, network, reunite with your fellow utility arborist colleagues at the annual Utility Arborist Association Luncheon. This event will be held at the convention center along with the UAA/SMA joint educational session track.
SCA History and Modern Arboriculture Tour
- Date: Wednesday, August 7
- Cost: $60 USD per person ($75 onsite)
- Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Departs: Metro Toronto Convention Centre - South Building
The SCA annual tour combines history and modernization. Enjoy a historical church and tree tour in the Niagara region of Ontario, a place rich in American and Canadian history, and of course a trip to this part of the world must include a stop at the famous Niagra Falls.
Stops include a tour of Canada's largest compost tea brewing facility, and a visit to Arborwood Tree Service. Learn about wholistic approaches to tree care and how compost tea has become a thriving and profitable compliment to standard tree care services. The tour also includes lunch and the SCA business meeting.
SMA Educational Tour

Join the Society of Municipal Arborists for an educational tour that includes stops to discuss the following topics: Toronto's New Soil and Tree-Based Standards for Boulevards, Trees and Sidewalks: Infrastructure Coexisting Side-by-side, and A Canadian Certification Program for Nursery Stock. The tour will include lunch.
AREA Luncheon

- Where: Metro Toronto Convention Centre - South Building
Don’t miss this opportunity to meet with Arboricultural Research and Education Academy colleagues and discuss the current state of arboricultural research and education. Special recognition will be given to the 2013 AREA student travel grant recipients. Everyone is welcome, and students are especially encouraged to join us. This event will be held at the convention center in conjunction with the AREA educational session track.

The ISA Ontario Chapter (ISAO) as arranged local tour options for attendees and their guests to enjoy during their visit. Attendees will pay tour organizers upon arrival at each event. Toronto Harbour Dinner Cruise
Enjoy music, chicken dinner buffet, cash bar and the Toronto skyline during this four-hour cruise aboard the Wayward Princess

Steam Whistle Brewery Tour
The Good Beer Folks welcome you and your friends to come by the brewery for a tour and taste. Learn how Canada's Premium Pilsner is made, meet their friendly staff and enjoy a sample of their beer. You'll learn why Steam Whistle was designated one of Toronto's "green buildings" and about our railway history. Our tours will educate and entertain!

Bruce Bell Historic Walking Tour of Toronto
Considered to be one of the most entertaining historians and storytellers, Bruce Bell, knows more about the history of Toronto than possibly anyone. So much of Toronto's history is either buried under parking lots or confined to dusty history books hidden on the top shelves of libraries or just plain forgotten. Using his wealth of knowledge and experience, well known historian and author Bruce Bell is determined to look under those parking lots to see what secrets are held in Toronto's much overlooked colonial and 19th century past.
